Who What When Where and alot of Why & How

I grew up near Pittsburgh, Pa. I was always making stuff...I made art, clothes,wrote stories,music & lyrics.

I went to Slippery Rock State College & Edinboro U. of Pa for BFA in Ceramics.Along the way I took many fiber, sculpture, jewelry & painting classes.

Met my husband on a commune (yep) , had 2 baby boys ( homebirths),learned about growin' food, milkin'cows, caring for horses...then

moved to coast of Maine. The ocean and islands have many stories to tell. Been here 20 years...in a house my husband Bill built. I have a swimming pond with Koi and alot of peace & quiet.

I have gone from being a potter to a weaver a seamstress a jeweler a sculptor and a painter. I never did believe it when someone told me I had to find one thing and stick to it!! I think all my work led me to being a better artist...and gives me more ways to tell stories...after all...artists are storytellers at heart.
